Alexandros Angelou serves as Health, Safety and Environmental Senior Manager in DESFA’s Global Security & HSEQ Division, having assumed the role in July 2026 after seven years as Quality Manager. He has more than 20 years’ experience in Quality Management across the Oil & Gas sector. His expertise covers developing and improving integrated management systems aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025, ISO 14064, and ISO 17969, supporting compliant and sustainable critical energy infrastructure.

His background includes quality assurance and control, regulatory compliance, HSSEQ governance, performance monitoring, risk-based thinking, supplier oversight, training, ESG reporting, and integrated management-system audits. His ESG work includes coordinating cross-functional inputs, improving disclosure reliability, and aligning non-financial information with governance objectives. He has strengthened management-system effectiveness and supported complex infrastructure projects through assurance, stakeholder coordination, and international best practices.

He holds a BSc in Physics and an MSc in Energy Management Systems from the University of Athens. He is married and has two children.
